Raspberry Matcha Tea

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) hot water
  • 180 ml (¾ cup) hot water or steamed milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ teaspoon Lyons Raw Organic Raspberry Powder

Instructions:

1. Sift Matcha: Place the matcha powder into a bowl or mug through a fine-mesh sieve to prevent clumping.

2. Add Hot Water: Pour 60 ml of hot water over the sifted matcha.

3. Whisk: Using a regular whisk, briskly whisk the mixture in a zigzag motion until it becomes frothy and smooth.

4. Add More Liquid: Pour in the remaining 180mL of hot water or steamed milk, stirring gently to combine.

5. Garnish: Lightly sprinkle Lyons Raw Organic Raspberry Powder on top of the prepared matcha for a subtle fruity aroma and a pop of colour.
